Activities
The Institution aims at over all development of pupil, combining ancient study systems with modern technology. Students are there by encouraged to participate in various cultural events and competitions at various levels viz., college, district, state and national levels conducted, which are not limited to dance, singing, art, oratory, writing etc.
Social Responsibility
- In 2005, an amount of Rs. 25, 000/ was provided to the Honorable District Deputy Commissioner to the National Disaster Fund of the Government of India for the tsunami tragedy.
- In the year 2007, in the Malana fire disaster of Kullu district, approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- was collected from the public by the students and professors and 300 blankets were also carried to Malana by the students and professors through volunteer service.
- Rs. 11000/- to the Prime Minister’s Assistance Fund for Covid-19 by Sri Vyas Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya.
- Assistance of Rs.50000/- to the Prime Minister’s Assistance Fund for Covid-19 by Sri Vyas Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya for flood relief in Kullu July 2023.
Spiritual Countenance
- Continuous organization of Yagya, and spiritual rituals at Sri Swami Madhavanand Saraswati Veda Vidya Shodh Sansthan Vyasashram since 27 years.
- An estimated amount of Rs 15,00000/- was spent on the above events since 27 years.
- Training center for curious students and spiritual seekers.
Scholarship Programs
The college also provides financial assistance to poor and deserving students through scholarships. Estimated Rs. 2,00,000/- per student in all the previous sessions.
Library Facilities
The college has an extensive and excellent library of authentic Sanskrit texts, which has sufficient material for research work in the subjects of grammar, philosophy, literature and Vedas. Along with this, the library is also equipped with national level magazines in Sanskrit and Hindi.
Publishing Activity
Successfully supporting the publication of the quarterly Krantisutra Hindi magazine of Indian ideology at the national level since 2007 and five national level awards like editor Ratna and Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ etc.
